Șcheaua, Fănel
Agricultural machines are considered part of special mechanical
equipments category intended to perform mechanized works in farmlands,
in order to obtain optimal harvests. The continuous development of these
equipments was mainly aimed at evolutions of specific technological
processes, constant increasing of speed in operation mode and also
increasing of engine power. In order to well perform the proposed
technological process, they should have high resources of reliability,
durability and stability in execution in spite of the external conditions in
which their operation is carried out. This paper performs a constructive
and functional description for agricultural tractors equipped with plowing
working equipment. Also it is described the hydraulic suspension system by
means of which the plowing device can be raised for transport or lowered
to the working position. For instance, it was chosen the three-point
articulated model for the suspension system used because it is the most
widely used on the most constructive pattern of agricultural tractors.

Șcheaua, Fănel
Many types of isolation systems against ground seismic activities which
can be attached to the building structures have experienced an intensive
development in recent years. The studies and researches carried out on
different experimental models aim to obtain continuous improvements for
the isolation systems component parts so they can provide maximum
efficiency in operation, and offer an improved behavior for structures to
which are mounted during seismic events. This paper shows the working
principle of isolation systems with dry friction depending on the main
parameters involved and the linear force-displacement diagrams obtained
from the case studies using different values of these design parameters.

Picu, Mihaela
In this paper are described the experimental measurements of noise
transmitted to the staff from a naval ship during different operating modes
on the Danube. This paper is focused on the technical aspects of the
Directive 2003/10/EC regulations. The measurements targeted the staff’s
comfort both in the engines room and on the decks. The living conditions
inside the cabins and inside the common areas were also taken into
account. The parallel between the limit values (Directive 2003/10/EC) and
the mean value of the experimental results shows that:
