<title>About Phonic Isolation of the Mobile Equipment Cabin</title>
<link>http://arthra.ugal.ro/handle/20.500.14043/24571</link>
<description>About Phonic Isolation of the Mobile Equipment Cabin
Anghelache, Diana
This work presents vibration absorbing and damping solutions for&#13;
operator cabin on construction equipment. Hereby, the operator cabin has&#13;
to be considered accordingly.&#13;
Vibration proof and sound proof materials applied on the cabin walls&#13;
require known attenuation and absorbing coefficients according to&#13;
frequency. Exceeding the compartment noise level above the established&#13;
limits involves special noise reducing measures. All the mat surfaces that&#13;
have horizontal, vertical or diagonal alignment can be insulated&#13;
according to a certain geometric configuration of an operator cabin.&#13;
The work related noise is a major concern in Europe. It affects millions of&#13;
workers not only in heavy industry but in various fields of activity such as&#13;
services, education and entertainment. One third of the European&#13;
employees are exposed to high noise levels during more than one third of&#13;
their work time. Approximately 40 million workers (the equivalent of&#13;
population of Spain) have to raise their voices over the normal level in&#13;
order to communicate properly. That happens during half of the work time,&#13;
at least.

<title>Determination of Epoxy Resin' Mechanical Properties by Experimental-Computational Procedures in Tension</title>

<description>Determination of Epoxy Resin' Mechanical Properties by Experimental-Computational Procedures in Tension
Tsiafis, I.; Bouzakis, K.-D.; Michalidis, N.
The use of epoxy resins in metal structures for adhesive reasons is getting wider.&#13;
Epoxy resins possess enhanced mechanical, chemical and physical properties, i.e.&#13;
increased shear and compression strength, resistance in solvents, as well as at high&#13;
temperatures. Tensile tests were carried out with standard aluminium tension&#13;
specimens glued with epoxy resins. The thickness of the glue and the acting crosssection&#13;
area were variable. The specimens were cemented under constant&#13;
temperature and humidity conditions. The experimental results were simulated with&#13;
the aid of FEM-based procedures, while the stress–strain curves of the epoxy&#13;
resins, as obtained by nanoindentations and corresponding FEM-supported&#13;
algorithm, were taken into account. The obtained results allow the determination of&#13;
the epoxy resins’ strength versus its thickness and the occupying cross-section area.

<title>On the Rheological Behaviour of the soil in the Artificial Compacting Process</title>
<link>http://arthra.ugal.ro/handle/20.500.14043/24569</link>
<description>On the Rheological Behaviour of the soil in the Artificial Compacting Process
Oproescu, Gheorghe; Debeleac, Carmen; Leopa, Adrian; Năstac, Silviu-Marian
The artificial compacting of the soil is made mostly with machines with&#13;
dynamical action such as vibrating plate, vibrating beater or vibrating&#13;
drum. Their effect on the compacting process of the soil has two origins:&#13;
the own weight of the machine and the unidirectional vibrating force&#13;
generated from a specific device. A centrifugal vibrating generator is the&#13;
frequently used device. In order to develop equipments with high&#13;
performance, namely computer-aided machines, machines with active&#13;
adaptation or alike, the physical and mathematical modeling of the soil&#13;
behaviours are necessary. The previously developed models, based on the&#13;
linear elastical behaviour of the soil and certain tricks used in the&#13;
presentment of the soil properties in order to make easy an analytical&#13;
solution of the movement equations, try to adapt a linear model to a&#13;
nonlinear and nonelastical medium. This fact brings about very large&#13;
approximations of the reality.Our work shows a new model of the soil,&#13;
based on more properties such as elasticity, viscosity, plasticity and dry&#13;
friction. This model is excited by a vibrating machine and the result&#13;
concerning displacement, speed, acceleration or consumed power is&#13;
possible to be obtained on computer. The modification of the properties of&#13;
the compacted soil modifies the result of the model and therefore the&#13;
compaction degree can be modeled by modifying the result of the developed&#13;
model

<description>A Method of Assessing the Stress in some Components of Hydraulic Cylinders
Hauk, Niculai
This paper proposes a method for evaluating the stress of the unit body of&#13;
the hydraulic cylinder and the rod which was at work and the Hydraulic&#13;
Brake at the end of the race. The paper analyzes the situation in which is&#13;
acting hydraulic cylinder with a rigid axle set, being powered by a&#13;
hydraulic installation whose source is a flow pump controlled by power&#13;
regulator.
