Abstract
The scientific world is concerned with research in the field of nanotechnology, being motivated by the production of nanostructures. The regular interest manifested for nanostructures is supported by the idea that their properties can’t be determined by extrapolation from smaller or higher scales.
Nanostructuring proved to have tremendous potential to revolutionize the way of obtaining material goods. This way of approaching facilitates unique opportunities to create materials with a revolutionary behavior, through access to new properties occurring only at nanoscale. [1].
The nanostructures are materials in which at least one of the dimensions is between 1-100 nm and whose properties differ from the macroscopic properties of the same material.
They can be of various shapes: nanoparticles, nanowires, nanotubes, thin layers, etc.. All conventional materials, such as metals, semiconductors, glass, ceramics or polymers, can have nanoscale dimentions. [1].The small size of these materials generates new properties on their electronical, optical, magnetic, mechanical, chemical etc. behavior.
