dc.description.abstractThe paper presents the casting art of bells, their spiritual significance, as well as their evolution over time. The bells may be made of both metallic or/and nonmetallic materials, of various shapes and sizes. While producing the adequate sounds, bells have found a universal use: they served as musical instruments, sound devices used in religious rituals, for communication and warning signals. In the European world, the progress and the performances regarding of bells development are owed to their use in the Christian Church rituals.ro_RO
