In democratic or democratizing systems government exists to fulfill functions such as maintaining security, providing public services and ensuring equal treatment under the law. So, there is no doubt that the public and private sectors are depending on each other to activate efficiently and to achieve their objectives, therefore the public sector should facilitate the effectiveness of the business sector. Sustainability itself cannot be achieved without good governance. In order to realize a good governance and administration public administration should be transparent and information should be handled as openly as the law allows. Also, public bodies should give people information and, if appropriate, advice that is clear, accurate, complete, relevant and timely and should create and maintain reliable and usable records as evidence of their activities.en_US
