Abstract
The paper presents experimental tests made in static and dynamic conditions in order to establish the wear laws for different materials’ couples at different medium temperatures and pressures. Some complex wear laws were obtained for each material couple, depending on the medium temperature, the pressure and the composition and the pump working parameters, such as the deep in well, the pumping velocity etc. Because even when it is chosen the best materials’ couple, the corrosion still remains at a high value, it is presented a method to reduce the corrosion wear using a galvanic cathodic protection. With the wear laws obtained, it was created an original interactive computer program depending on the pump type and the working parameters, in order to establish the pump lifetime. The results obtained with the created program were confirmed by data from the oil fields.
